For market leaders our client is the leading provider of social customer solutions that deliver real business results. Their solutions offer complete social monitoring, a comprehensive community platform, and actionable analytics across millions of blogs, forums, and social networking sites. Their technology is proven in high-volume, growth environments and provides security, open and custom APIs, and multi-language support.

They are now looking for an outstanding marketer to lead our efforts in the UK and Northern Europe. This is an outstanding position for an individual with a proven track record of success in a multi-national role who also has deep knowledge of social marketing, community management, and corporate communications. The Head of Marketing, UK & Northern Europe will lead the management and coordination of their marketing strategies including social strategies, demand generation, press activities, analyst relations, and partner programs. Working with both customers and own global sales and marketing organization, you must have a strong desire to help an emerging player an continue to build superior traction in the marketplace along with the market awareness to keep Lithium top of mind to our target prospects, media, and social influencers.

  • Drive and actively contribute to the top line growth by creating and implementing pan European marketing and social communication strategy.
  • Develop a program of diverse campaigns to maximize media exposure and perception, and aligns with target audience for lead gen and revenue goals and continuous flow of inbound leads into target accounts and markets.
  • Motivate and lead the press activities in the UK and specifically direct the efforts of our UK agency.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key bloggers.
  • Need to understand and be able to articulate (verbally and in writing) their story with clear differentiation, and position a new imperative.
  • Coordinate go-to-market programs with corporate offices in US and with the EMEA the leadership team.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing peer for Central/South Europe .
  • Provide corporate marketing with insights on the UK, Northern Europe and Nordic markets.
  • Strong creative mindset coupled with a realistic outlook.
  • Exceptional analytical and reporting capabilities including the knowledge of both traditional and social media monitoring.
  • Leverage reporting and measurement tools on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Be a thought leader, networker, speaker, evangelist, blogger, writer, tweeter who can become a voice of Lithium for the UK.
  • BA/BS in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or Marketing preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in technology, either at an agency or corporate in-house. Experience managing agency relationships.
  • MBA or post-graduate degree desirable
  • Strong interest in evangelizing and growing the need for social marketing and customer communities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to deal professionally with the sales and marketing teams, executive management along with vendors, partners, customers, and industry analysts.
  • Superb writing and editing skills
  • Proven project management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines with limited resources.
  • Versatility in both leading and doing—this role requires strategic thinking and thoughtful execution.
  • Ability to multi-task and quickly prioritize projects and communicate priorities to stakeholders.
  • High level of energy, enthusiastic team player with dedication to excellence.
  • Will be based in the London office .
  • International travel required.

EMEA Market & Business Analyst / Value Engineering

Our client is a world leader in Supply and Contract Management software solutions that empower enterprises to realize best value and accelerate profitable growth. Their solutions are used by successful Global 2000 companies in every sector including: Financial Services, FMCG and Telecommunication and Aeronautical manufacturers among others

As this is a new role in the UK for our client, the titles above are more generic to its activities.

General Responsibility

  • Analyse industries and target organisations to identify areas of business improvement (the drivers of value) that align with the value proposition
  • Analyse publically available financial information to identify companies where Our client has the strongest value proposition
  • Work with the sales and marketing organizations to package the analysis for use in business development, lead generation and customer retention initiatives.


Key Objectives

·         Support marketing activities in the form of targeted marketing campaigns, Value Hypothesis creation & delivery, target account activity, Up-sell Opportunities and customer Retention.

·         Support the generation and on-going delivery and measurement of new business accounts in pre and post sales scenarios (prospect and customer retention)

·         Create, continually improve & drive adoption of sales tools and methodologies to support sales engagement at CxO level within global Target Accounts.

·         Engage with customers to capture and document measurable benefit based customer case studies for use by field sale.

·         Become the go-to-person regarding customer case studies/value hypothesis data

·         Evangelise the value proposition to the CXO (CFO, CEO, COO, CPO) levels.


Key Tasks

  • Analyse our client's target market to determine organisations/sectors/etc that best align with the value that their solutions drive. Produce supporting tools and collateral to help sales/marketing drive pipeline in those sectors based on value based selling approaches.
  • Analyse the drivers of shareholder value for specific industries and target companies
  • Analyse and construct data sets using both our client's data and publically available information sources including industry benchmarks (for example).
  • Assess the ability of our clients solutions to drive significant impact on the value drivers for a company
  • Build a pro-forma business case that describes the vision of how the Our client solutions would drive the improved performance and estimates the financial impact on the value drivers for specific companies/industries.
  • Work with business development teams to refine the business case through direct interaction with the customer/prospect including, research directed at their customers, suppliers and partners
  • Work with sales & marketing to package the information for use in campaigns and initiatives


Required Experience & Skill-Sets

  • minimum of Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, decision sciences or industrial engineering
  • Commercial outlook derived through working with sales and marketing teams in a similar environment
  • Ideally, some direct experience working on company valuation analysis or industry economic analysis or evaluating an ROI proposition
  • Demonstrated ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of businesses
  • Ability to document and present analysis, incorporate feedback and refine work
  • Ideally an ability to hold CxO level discussions around key value drivers, value propositions and economic performance improvement plans.
